This 1950 autobiography has become a Conservative classic. Chambers, a journalist for Time magazine, tells of his role as a member of the American Communist Party and as an active Soviet agent who passed secrets to the Reds. After becoming disillusioned with Stalin following the Moscow purges, Chambers revealed everything and claimed there was a network of spies within the American government.
